The WHS Speech and Debate Team participates in formal Public Forum Debate and MSDL speech events in both the Massachusetts Speech and Debate League as well as the national circuit. We are a varsity-level academic team, meeting in B238 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Not all meetings are required, but we ask that each team member attends one per week. We attend formal debate tournaments about once every month and debate topics ranging from the electoral college to military spending.
